INGREDIENTS:

• 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, divided
• 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
• Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• 5 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/4 cup chicken broth
• Juice of 1 lemon or more, to taste
• 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley leaves


Garlic and butter are the two greatest pleasures of life. Two things I could probably live for the rest of my life. And when you mix these two into one magnificent shrimp skeleton, it is nothing short of perfection.

Now for those who are on a diet or who are preparing for a bi*kini season, which is something you should really do, this is one of those recipes to prepare on your "cheat day" because until the last This succulent, juicy bite of this is totally worth it. And it comes together in less than 20 minutes.

How to prepare Garlic Butter Shrimp:

1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink, about 2-3 minutes; set aside.

2. Add garlic to skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a boil; Reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, about 1-2 minutes. Add the remaining 6 tablespoons of butter, 1 tablespoon at a time, until melted and smooth.

3. Add shrimp and stir gently to combine.

4. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley leaves, if desired.
