Punjabi lamb curry ingredients

  • 500 g of lamb
  • 2 tablespoons coriander powder
  • 4 onions
  • 2 teaspoons garlic paste
  • 4 clove
  • 5 green cardamom
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • salt as needed
  • 2 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons ghee
  • 1/2 cup of yogurt (curd)
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 3 tomato
  • 8 peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

To decorate

  • 1 handful of coriander leaves

How to make Punjabi lamb curry

Step 1 Heat oil, cook whole spices with onion paste and ginger and garlic

This is a great lamb recipe that you can easily make at home. To prepare this simple recipe, first clean and wash the pieces of lamb. Next, put a large skillet over medium heat and melt the ghee in it. Once the ghee is melted, add cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon stick. Sauté these for a minute and add the sliced ​​onions along with the salt. Sauté until the onion turns light brown. Next, add the ginger paste along with the garlic paste and cook the mixture until the raw smell disappears.

Step 2 Add the powdered spices, tomatoes and pieces of lamb.
